The Interdisciplinary MSc in Brain and Mind Sciences (B&M) is a research-intensive, full-time postgraduate program focused on the scientific study of the brain, cognition, and behavior. The program is jointly organized by the University of Crete and the Foundation for Research & Technology – Hellas (FORTH), offering an integrated training environment where experimental, computational, and theoretical approaches to the brain and mind are studied side by side.

Students receive rigorous training across the full spectrum of neurosciences, with strong emphasis on methodological depth, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary integration. The program is designed to prepare graduates for research-oriented careers and doctoral studies, through close engagement with active research laboratories and contemporary scientific questions.

The MSc spans four semesters, is taught entirely in English, follows a full-time structure, and has no tuition fees. Admission is competitive and limited to 25 students per year, ensuring close interaction with faculty and researchers.

Based in Crete, one of Greece’s leading research hubs, the program combines direct access to internationally visible research institutes with an exceptional quality of life—providing an ideal setting for focused, high-level postgraduate study.
