Call for Applications for the Master’s Program in Molecular Biology – Biomedicine
The Departments of Biology and Medicine of the University of Crete and the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (IMBB) of the Foundation for research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) operate the Interinstitutional Graduate Program “Molecular Biology – Biomedicine. The program will commence in the academic year 2026-2027, coinciding with the start of the winter semester at the Department of Biology, University of Crete (September 2026).

This graduate program leads to the awarding of a Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in “Molecular Biology – Biomedicine” after completing four (4) academic semesters.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a first-cycle degree from a Higher Education Institution (HEI) or a recognized foreign institution in relevant disciplines, including:
– Natural & Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Agricultural Science)
– Health Sciences (Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry)
– Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering & Technology Sciences
