The University of Crete is organizing, for the second time, the largest event of the INGENIUM University Alliance, 10 Days of INGENIUM, where students and staff from all partner universities meet in person to collaborate, exchange ideas, and share best practices.

A week of events (May 19–23) will include the Senior Summer School hosted by the University of Crete, designed for postgraduate students, PhD candidates, and researchers. Themed “From Earth Surface to Space,” the program will focus on:

  • understanding of how Earth and Space will help us to protect our planet
  • becoming familiar with various methods of Earth observation from space
  • presenting key technologies and emerging trends in the field of space technologies

At the same time, a Staff Academy will take place, showcasing innovative pedagogical practices from the 10 European institutions.

The opening event will be held on May 19, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., at the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH), where the University Rectorate and FORTH Administration will welcome the participants.

On Friday, May 23, an Innovation Day on space technologies will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m..
