The 9th Summer School on “Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality in Education and Cultural Heritage” was held in Heraklion, Crete, from July 13 to 18, 2025.

A total of 35 educators from all levels of education in Greece and Australia participated in the program.

Throughout the week, participants were trained in cutting-edge technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), and Digital Storytelling. Through hands-on workshops, presentations, collaborative activities, and educational visits focused on cultural heritage, they developed skills that enhance pedagogical design and enrich teaching practices using tools of digital transformation.

The Summer School aimed to empower educators to creatively integrate emerging technologies into their teaching, enhancing the learning experience and promoting innovation in both education and culture.
