The University of Crete marked its second participation in the EAIE Conference & Exhibition (9–12 September 2025, Gothenburg), hosted at the Study in Greece booth alongside other Greek universities. The delegation included Professor Melina Tamiolaki, Vice-Rector of Development, International Affairs, and Outlook, and Ms. Evgenia Skountaki, Head of the Welcome Office.

Highlights included participation in the KIWi Connect Greek–German matchmaking reception—capped by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Study in Greece and DAAD—and the “Greece meets Czechia” networking event at the Study in Czechia booth.

Through targeted meetings with universities and national pavilions, UoC advanced strategic collaborations and set clear next steps for cooperation, reinforcing Greece’s role in international higher education.
