Postdoctoral Fellowships in Spain, with funded secondments to Australia

The Australia-Spain Network for Innovation and Research Excellence (AuSpire) program is a postdoctoral training initiative co-funded by the European Union (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions). Coordinated by RMIT Europe, AuSpire brings together leading supervisors from 23 research centres, companies, and universities.

AuSpire offers Postdoctoral Fellowships to train researchers in Comparative Genomics, Computational Materials Science, Underwater Laser Communication, Nature-based Wastewater Treatment Systems, Nanotechnologies, Mental Health Ecosystems Design and Management, and other related fields, with a focus on Planetary Wellbeing.

AuSpire is looking for outstanding researchers from around the world who have not resided or carried out their main activity in Spain for more than 12 months in the past 3 years and who hold a PhD. Successful applicants are expected to start in June 2026.

The call for applications is open from 1 December 2025 until 26 January 2026.
