The activities of the international winter program entitled “Crete and the Aegean: from Prehistory to the Early Byzantine Period” were successfully completed on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. The program was implemented within the framework of a collaboration between the University of Crete and the College Year in Athens (CYA)/DI.K.E.ME.S. (International Center for Hellenic and Mediterranean Studies), with Dr. Nikos Litinas (Department of Philology) serving as the instructor.
The program was attended by four students from American universities, their accompanying professor, Dr. Dimitris Kritsotakis (instructor at CYA), as well as four postgraduate students of the MSc Program “Classical Studies” of the Department of Philology of the University of Crete.
