The Second Evaluation Phase, which is the main event of the competition for the selection and awarding of the three best doctoral dissertation presentations, will take place on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 18:30, at the “Nikos Petridis” Amphitheater of the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics of the University of Crete, at the Voutes Campus in Heraklion.

The event will be open to the general public.

On the day of the main event, following the completion of the presentations and the selection and awarding process for the three best presentations, PhD candidates from the University of Crete will present their research activity in a poster exhibition, in a specially designed area at the entrance of the Department. The public will have the opportunity to interact with the PhD candidates and learn about their research work.
