4th Annual Conference | Women in Fintech & AI

Women in Financial Technology and Artificial Intelligence

The Department of Preschool Education at the University of Crete, Rethymno, in collaboration with COST Action CA 19130 – Fintech and Artificial Intelligence in Finance, is pleased to announce the 4th annual Women in Fintech & AI Conference. This year’s conference will be held on June 27 and 28, 2024, at the Gallos Campus, and will focus on the critical role of education in financial technology, as well as inclusion in the financial services sector.

We invite researchers and professionals to submit original research papers or case studies on the following key topics:

Financial education and training. Strategies to improve access to financial knowledge and tools, especially for women and underrepresented groups.

Transparency in financial technology (Fintech) and artificial intelligence (AI): Ensuring fair and transparent decision-making models within the realm of AI-based financial services. Transparency versus Black Box Decision-Support Models in the Financial sector. Transparency in the Performance of Investment Products for Clients. Fintech and Artificial Intelligence in Finance.

Gender parity in Fintech, inclusion of diversity in the fintech sector.

Submission guidelines:

Authors are invited to submit full papers or extended abstracts (at least 1000 words).

Submissions should relate to one or more of the conference themes.

Papers and abstracts will undergo a rigorous selection process by the Scientific Committee.

The submission deadline is April 30, 2024.

Accepted papers will be presented at the conference, offering opportunities for substantive dialogue, networking, and collaboration.
