The Rectorate of the University of Crete invites the Ambassador of China to Greece, on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 14:00, in the Senate Room, at the Gallos Campus in Rethymno, on the occasion of the first anniversary of the establishment of the Center for Greek and Chinese Culture and within the framework of the February School “The Origins of Civilizations: A Cretan Perspective.”

The event will be accompanied by brief speeches from His Excellency the Ambassador of China to Greece, Mr. Xiao Junzheng, the President of the Center for Greek and Chinese Culture (CGCC) of China, Professor Cui Yanqiang, the President of the CGCC of Greece, Honorary Prof. St. Virdidakis, the Secretary of the CGCC of Greece, Associate Professor X. Balla, and the Secretary of the CGCC of China, Mr. Wang Yong.

Co-organized by the February School: University of Crete, Center for Greek and Chinese Culture (CGCC), Institute of Mediterranean Studies (IMS), Southwest University of China.
