The University of Crete, an Official Examination Centre of the Centre for the Greek Language (Centre Code: 30026), invites all interested candidates to apply for the October 2026 Greek Language Proficiency Examinations (Certificate of Attainment in Greek).
This examination session is held exclusively at examination centres in Greece and includes the following levels:
- A2 for Vocational Purposes
- B1
Registration Period: September 1–15, 2026
Examination Date: Friday, October 23, 2026 (Morning Session)
Examination Fee: €90
Why Obtain the Certificate of Attainment in Greek?
The Certificate of Attainment in Greek:
- Is officially recognized by the Greek State.
- Certifies Greek language proficiency for academic, professional, vocational, and personal purposes.
- Is an internationally recognized qualification issued by the Centre for the Greek Language (CGL).

The Certificate of Attainment in Greek is officially recognized by the Greek State and internationally accepted. It certifies Greek language proficiency at levels A1–C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
