The 3rd Global Forum on Mutual Learning among Civilizations, themed “Education and Civilization Exchange: Pathways to Mutual Learning and Shared Development,” was held at Southwest University, a founding member of the Center for Chinese and Greek Civilizations (KELKIP) in China, where the Secretariat of the Chinese KELKIP is also based.

University leaders, scholars, and representatives from the education sectors of China and Greece gathered to explore new pathways for Sino-Hellenic higher education cooperation and to discuss the future role of classical wisdom in global education and intercultural dialogue.

A major outcome of the Forum was the launch of the Sino-Hellenic University Alliance, with more than 18 Chinese universities joining the initiative, further strengthening academic and cultural collaboration between the two countries.

The University of Crete also designed the official logo of KELKIP, an artistic contribution symbolizing dialogue, shared heritage, and mutual understanding between two ancient civilizations.
